Who are we?

Hello! We are neurodivergent, disabled, and chronically ill writers, artists, and editors living in the US Midwest, the UK, India, and other parts of the world! HNDL was started in the spring of 2022 to celebrate, uplift, and represent the amazing art and expression the community has to offer.

What do we do?

​

We have published 9 online issues thus far. Accessible, affordable print issues in classic DIY punk 'zine style are in the works.

We sell copies of our print 'zines, art prints, and $2/month Patreon subscriptions. The profits go directly back to our ability to continue to run the magazine.

Financial Transparency:

Founder & Creative Director Izzy Amber pays out of pocket from her day job for HNDL's running costs. HNDL does not currently make any profit. HNDL is unable to pay accepted contributors at this time. Here is a breakdown of costs:
